Google I/O Extended Colombo – 2013

‘Google I/O Extended Colombo – 2013′ is the first ever Google I/O extended event in Sri Lanka hosted by Mobitel was held at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute on night of 15th May 2013. Google is extending this conference, titled as ‘Google I/O Extended’ to different locations through interested organizers for the benefit of developers around the world where it includes a live-stream of the Keynote and selected sessions of Google I/O event. Organizes are free to make the local event more attractive and lively with a content rich agenda including local speaker sessions, workshops from local developers and entrepreneurs, coding competitions etc. Interested individuals can register for these local events to watch the live stream of Google I/O sessions as well as to mingle and hangout together with local developers.

Google I/O is an annual developer-focused conference held by Google in San Francisco for a three day period that features a wide range Google related technologies, includes announcements of several new products and important upgrades to existing products. Its main aim is to let people get inspired by the tech world’s latest web, mobile and social breakthroughs to create simple, life-improving technologies and viable businesses among a rich and diverse community of advanced developers.
